Itinerary
With India Nepal tour Package, you will touch down at Delhi and will be driven to your hotel by our representative. Your first visit would be to Rajghat, a memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi. For your next destinatination, i.e., Jama Masjid, you will be taken past the majestic Red Fort and Chandni Chowk Market.
In the afternoon, you will get to visit Qutub Minar, Humayun tomb and India Gate, all significant historical monuments of Delhi. The rest of the day, we will drive across the Parliament House, President's House and other Government Secretarial Buildings to pay a final visit to the Lakshminarayan temple. Last would be an overnight stay at Delhi.
This day, you will be driven from your hotel to the Delhi airport for your flight to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. In Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at your pace and will stay at Kathmandu overnight.
Your exploration of Kathmandu will begin from Durbar Square, which is a famous tourist spot for its various fortresses, temples, religious shrines and fountains. After spending some time admiring their ingenious architecture, your next visit will be to Mahadev and Parvati Temple. The next highlight for the day would be Hanuman Dhoka, which is famous for its numerous palaces and shrines. You can spend the afternoon anyway you like, either exploring other monuments or taking a nap. On the third day of the tour, you would stay overnight at Kathmandu.
For the fourth day of your India Nepal tour, plan your own itinerary and visit places that you like. You can start with Patan, which is a large town across the Bagmati River from Kathmandu. Indulge in shopping for the various statues, masks and jewelry that are well-known here. Within Patan, you can visit the Museum, Ashok Stupa and various famous temples like Shankar Narayan temple, Vishnu temples, Vishwanath temple, etc.
Plan your next stop at Nagarkot, which is surrounded by thick forests of pine trees and offers some elusive glimpse of the Himalayas. Follow this by visiting the magnificent temples that dot this area, like the Kali and Bhagwati Temples and the Changu Narayan Vishnu temple, the oldest one in Nepal. For a buddhist touch, visit one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Boudhanath.
For adventure seekers, there are options for trekking in the nearby mountains or rafting in the Himalayan Rivers. One of the most life changing experiences would be the flight view of the Mount Everest. After coming back to your hotel, you will stay overnight.
On the fifth day of the tour, you will be taken to the Kathmandu airport for your flight to Varanasi. At Varanasi, you will be transferred to your hotel, from where you can spend the day as per your wish. You can amble about the busy bazaars of Varanasi or visit the famous temples. It is recommended to attend the mesmerising evening aarti across the Ganga ghats to make the most of your trip. You will stay overnight at Varanasi.
The next morning, we will take you on a boat ride across Ganga. There, you will get to see throngs of devotees taking a holy dip in the river. Another uncommon sight would be of the numerous funeral pyres on the bank, burnt to offer the departed salvation. The rest of the day can be planned as you like, with the overnight stay at the hotel
Day is at leisure. This would be booked for travelling to Sarnath and exploring its ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum. Check-out from your hotel is at 1200 hrs noon. You will be taken to the Mughal Sarai rail-station in the evening for an overnight train journey to Agra.
In the morning you will reach Tundla station and transferred to a hotel in Agra. Along with Delhi and Jaipur, Agra forms the part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit. Initially, you will be taken to visit Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world and the majestic Agra Fort. Rest of the day you can explore the handicrafts and marble work that are famous in Agra. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel.
The next day you will start from Agra, tour through Fatehpur Sikri and reach Jaipur. In Fatehpur Sikri, a brilliant example of Mughal architecture, you will come across other monuments like Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani's palace, Naubat Khana and Birbal's house.
The next stop would be Jaipur, the final destination of the India Nepal tour package. Also called as the Pink city, Jaipur is adobe to many breathtaking palaces. This ninth day of the tour can be spent at your leisurely pace, exploring the vibrant and crowded bazaars and streets of the city. The overnight stay would be in Jaipur.
The tenth day will be spent in exploring the various palaces of Jaipur. It will begin with the Amer palace, a magnificent red sandstone fort. The next destinations would be Maharaja City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and the rose garden. The evening can be spent in shopping for clothes, jewelry and other trinkets. The overnight stay would be at Jaipur.
This day you will be sent from Jaipur to Delhi airport for your return flight. As most of the flights depart after midnight, Delhi accommodation wont be included. You can depart for your return/onward journey from here.
