The morning tour begins with the Old Delhi, built in 1639 AD by Shah Jahan the Mughal emperor. Also, you will get to visit the Raj Ghat the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of ours. You will also visit the great museum which was built in his memory. You will get to see the beautiful Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, a very famous and busy marketplace in Old Delhi up till the next stop – Jama Masjid, which is among the historical, iconic, most prominent mosques in all India put up by Shah Jahan. A ride to Chandni Chowk can be exciting as the area of the city is very crowded and it is filled up with shops. These many shops sell fantastic mouth-watering dishes, household items, jewels, clothes, and much more and are a paradise for all shoppers.

In the afternoon, your destination will be Qutub Minar, popular as the largest minaret in India. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, constructed by the famous Turk ruler Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibak in 1192 is a very important site to visit in Delhi. Another notable UNESCO World Heritage Site, Humayun’s Tomb will be your very next halt. The next stop will be the India Gate, put up for the Unknown Soldiers. You will then be driven along the President’s House, Parliament House, and other significant Government Secretarial Buildings and then to your last destination which is Lakshminarayan Temple, a sacred place dedicated to Lord Narayana and Lakshmi. You will halt for the night in Delhi.

On this day, you will be transported to the Delhi airport for a Kathmandu flight. When reaching Kathmandu, you then will be taken to your hotel. Kathmandu is known to be the capital city and biggest metropolis of Nepal. This city has a lot to present to its visitors. The sites to visit in this city are both historically and religiously significant. The rich history of this city spans for an extensive period of nearly 2000 years. A large number of religious and cultural festivals and events take place here. Most of the Nepalese practice Buddhism and Hinduism. You can enjoy the leisure time for the rest of this day and spend the night in the Kathmandu hotel.

The tour will begin with Durbar Square, the heart of Kathmandu, built between the 12th to 18th centuries. The site showed excellent architectural buildings and made up of many fountains, temples, figurines, religious shrines, etc. Many striking buildings built in the square shows a perfect combination of ancient style as well as the modern fashion of architecture via its accurately designed figurines and other carved stone engravings. Stone-made lions standing on the palace entrance, and ancient inscriptions carved on stone rocks in different languages. Your next visit will be to the famous Mahadev and Parvati Temple that is devoted to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

Your next stop will be the Hanuman Dhoka, which was built by the ancient monarchs, which comprises of many shrines, palaces, temples, etc. and go as far as 5 acres of land area with the courtyards which was built in the middle years of the 16th century. In the 17th century, when King Pratap Malla reigned the land, several holy temples, devoted to different Hindu gods and goddesses, were constructed. Narayan Shah and the royal family, who lived here till late 19th century, made several other developments in this place. The afternoon is open for seeing the many other monuments or an excursion to nearby places which may interest you. The night will be spent in Kathmandu.

The whole day will be leisure in Kathmandu to give you the opportunity to visit the many nearby areas that interest you. Also known as Lalitpur, Patan is a city located near the Bagmati River in Kathmandu and is known for its jewelry, handicrafts, mask, and statues. The places of interest in Patan are The Museum, Durbar Square, Ashok Stupa, and the many temples some of which are Krishna temple, Degutale temple, Shankar Narayan temple, Vishwanath temple, Vishnu temples, Bhimsen temple, Mahaboudha Temple, Golden Temple, Machchhendranath Temple, and the Kumbheshwar Temple.

Nagarkot is a beautiful area amidst the densely forested hills of pine trees and at sunrise, you can get a glimpse of the Himalayan peaks, which is a mesmeric sight to witness. On a good day, you might be able to view the peak of Mt. Everest right from Nagarkot. Dhulikhel gives pleasant views and many temples such as Kali Temple, Hanuman Temple, Bhagwati Temple, etc. to visit. You can get to see the oldest temple in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and a beautiful museum if you visit the small town of Changu Narayan. Also visit another ancient town named Panauti, which has many old temples. If you want to see a huge pagoda style temple, visit the Indreswor Temple. From Kakani, you could get an amazing view of the beautiful valleys.

You have yet another extra day in Kathmandu for visiting the close areas in Hindu kingdom. Maybe a visit to Namo Buddha, Kirtipur, and Boudhanath, may interest you. Kirtipur which means “famed town" is an ancient little town which is lived by Newars. A notable UNESCO World Heritage Site, Boudhanath homes one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world dated in the 5th century AD and it is surrounded by several Tibetan Gompas. Considered as one of the most sacred places for the Buddhists, Namo Buddha with the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery is a must-visit site. According to the legends, in a former life, Lord Buddha sacrificed his body to feed a starving tiger and its cubs. If you love adventures, then Nepal will provide you with the best trekking at the nearby hills, and you could go rafting in the Himalayan Rivers as well. A flight to see the Mount Everest is recommended. The night will be spent in Kathmandu.

On the sixth day, you will be transferred to Kathmandu airport in time to take a flight from here to Varanasi. Arriving in Varanasi, you will then be taken to a hotel. The remainder of the day will be leisure. Or a walk in the busy bazaars of Banaras or Varanasi also called Benaras or Kashi will be fun. Varanasi is known to be the most ancient living city in the world, dating right back to 5000 years ago. It has also been the spiritual and cultural capital of Northern India for many years. Hindus believe that if a person dies in Varanasi, he will gain salvation. Known to be a holy city of India, Varanasi is also called the city of temples or the city of learning. The night will be spent in Varanasi.

On this day, you will be transported to the famous River Ganges for a ride on a boat. Two of the best-respected ghats, Harishchandra and Manikarnika ghats, which are often visited by many devoted members. Hindus believe that whosoever passes away in Varanasi and gets burnt on the river bank of Ganga receives salvation, therefore releasing him from the birth cycle. You will witness many funeral pyres burning in these ghats. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure discovering the city or visiting Sarnath. You can also watch the fascinating evening aarti at the ghats of River Ganges. The night will be spent in Varanasi.

You will now be taken to the airport in Varanasi for a flight to Khajuraho. When arriving in Khajuraho, you will be soon be transported to your hotel. Khajuraho is well known for its beautiful and exotic temples. The temples were built during 950 AD to 1050 AD by the Chandelas. After the time of Chandelas, the temples were said to be covered with dense palm-date trees and forgotten. And thus, this place was named as “Khajuraho”, which comes from the Hindi word ‘Khajur’ trees meaning date-palm trees. The place was re-discovered by an engineer named, Captain T. Burt from the British army in the year 1838. Overnight in Khajuraho.

Khajuraho outing will take you up to see temples such as Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, Bharatji or Chitragupta temple which is made of the magnificent 11 headed photos of Lord Vishnu, Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Nandi & Vishvanath Temples, Shiva’s Visha Temple and Lakshmana Temple. Khajuraho’s Parasvanath Temple is the only Jain temple which still exists. The Javeri Temple is in memory of the Hindu Lord Vishnu. The rest of the temples which you can visit are dedicated to Yamuna, Lord Brahma, and Lord Adinath. Following the visits, you will then be transported by road to the Jhansi rail-station. You will board a train to Agra, and on reaching there, you will be taken to a hotel in Agra. The night will be spent in Agra.

This morning in Agra, we will take you to the famous Taj Mahal, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The beautiful building was elegantly built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the years 1631 - 1648 by using white marble, and it was dedicated to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Standing on the river banks of Yamuna, this beautiful, breathtaking monument is very synonymous to love and romance. TAJ MAHAL IS ALWAYS CLOSED ON FRIDAYS.

The next stop, Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its architectural magnificence and built in the 16th century during the reign of the Mughal Empire. This place is made up of many beautiful palaces, such as Jahangir Palace and Khas Mahal. While here you’ll also be opportune to visit the Diwan-e-Khas and Diwan-e-Aam, which are famous for being a public audience hall and private audience hall. You can spend your afternoon visiting the interesting places or shopping. Agra is well known for marble, wooden, and metallic handicrafts and inlaid marble work. Transportation is made available within the city limits. The night will be spent in Agra.

Today morning from Agra, following your visit to Fatehpur Sikri, you will be taken to Jaipur. Fatehpur Sikri, one of the distinguished UNESCO World Heritage Sites, built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, is an outstanding evidence of the great Mughal civilization and includes a number of historical buildings. Here, you will make a tour of the magnificent Jama Masjid, then pay homage to the tomb of Salim Chishti, visit the five-story structure Panch Mahal, and the majestic Buland Darwaza, which is an exceptional example of architectural excellence. Called as the horseshoe gate by the local people, this structure is a central portico comprising of three arched entrances. The other awe-inspiring structures of this place that you will visit next are – Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s Palace, Naubat Khana, and Birbal’s house.

Following your tour of Fatehpur Sikri, you will ride to Jaipur. Jaipur, which is also called the pink city is the state capital of Rajasthan. Many eye-catching palaces are here which have architecture and breathtaking designs. Prince of Wales visited the pink city in the 18th century, and the whole town was colored in pink and because of the pink structures the town was named the pink city. This beautiful capital of Rajasthan originated around 260 years ago and was constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh after whom the city was named. The remainder of your day can be spent visiting walking down the Pink streets or visiting the Jaipur bazaars. Transportation is made available within the city limits. Overnight stay is arranged in Jaipur.

The first thing you are going to do this morning is visit the Amer Fort, also called Amer Palace, which was the former capital of Jaipur. Built by Raja Man Singh, this imposing structure is made of red sandstone and marble and is divided into four sections, each having a beautiful courtyard. Surajpol is the main entrance gate, which has a praiseworthy architecture. A splendid temple dedicated to the Goddess Sila Devi is present near the Ganesh Gate. Other structures present in this place - the Diwan-e-Aam – the hall of public audience, Diwan-e-Khas – the hall of private audience, Sheesh Mahal or the Palace of Mirrors, and the Sukh Niwas are all very resplendent in appearance. While visiting the Sukh Niwas, as the name suggests, you will enjoy a very pleasant climate created by the slow winds blowing over the cascading waters. You have options for ascending the fort either by walking or on an elephant’s back or riding in jeeps.

In the city of Jaipur, you will visit the Maharaja City Palace, a palace of royalty with seven stories. Next on your visit list is the famous observatory – Jantar Mantar, which attracts countless mathematicians and astronomers from all over the globe. City Palace is a perfect combination of the three most excellent architectural styles (Mughal, European and Rajput). Another Palace is Hawa Mahal which is known all over the world for its wonderful architecture. You will be also be taken through the Pink Rose Garden and the business centers in Jaipur. A tour in this place isn't accomplished without shopping. Jaipur is well known for carpets, clothes, precious stones, semi-precious stones, metal, jewelry and other handicrafts made out of wood and metals, miniatures, and silk paintings. On this day, you will be touring the town of Pushkar for the entire day. Pushkar is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for the Hindus and is known to be one of the oldest cities that still exist in our country. This blessed land of the Hindus is believed to have been created by Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe. As per the mythological tale, when Lord Brahma’s children were killed by the demon Vajra Nabha, Brahma killed the demon by hitting him with a lotus flower. At that time, a lotus petal fell on the ground of Pushkar and it formed a huge lake, where on a full moon day Lord Brahma performed a sacrifice. Pushkar has that only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the entire world. According to the popular belief of the Hindus, a bath in the Pushkar Lake can lead to salvation. The city is well-known for the Annual Camel Fair, where thousands of camels and livestock are traded. Transport facilities are available within the city boundary. For the night, you will stay at a hotel in Jaipur.

On this day we will take you from Jaipur to the airport in Delhi for your departure flight. As most flights depart immediately after mid-night, accommodation isn’t inclusive in Delhi.
